LSGCC’s Activity on Friday with Mr. Jun Lozada:

Advocacy for Sustained Reform and Accountability (ASAR)

2-22 2(February 22, 2PM):    2 The Filipino People

 

 

The Law Student Government Coordinating Council, composed of the Student Councils of the Ateneo Law, UP, UST, FEU-La Salle and UE Schools of Law will be conducting an activity this Friday dubbed as ASAR (Advocacy for Sustained Reform and Accountability).  All for the sake of truth, accountability and reform.

 

            At 2PM of February 22, simultaneous activities will take place on different campuses.

 

            In the Ateneo Law School-Rockwell, Mr. Jun Lozada will be having a symposium.  It will be an informal, interactive and inspiring session with the ZTE Star Witness.  This leg of the activity is called “Chika-chika with Lozada”.  There, he will share his intimate thoughts with the youth.  Venue is the Ateneo Law School Ground Floor lobby.

 

            In UST Law, there will be a mass for truth and accountability to be attended by the student leaders located in the Manila area.  The UST Central Student Council Central Board will read its statement after.

 

            In UE Law, the student leaders will spearhead the brown ribbon wearing campaign

 

After the activities in the Ateneo Law, UST and UE campuses, delegates in these areas will travel from said locations to converge in the University of the Philippines , Quezon Hall (Oblation).  The Grand Salubong in UP is dubbed A.S.A.R.An.  There will be a heroes welcome for Mr. Lozada, after which, there will be a candle lighting ceremony and “Cultural Night” where bands would be performing.  Poetry reading will also follow.  Prof. Randy David and Mr. Lozada to talk.  Prof. Harry Roque will do the opening remarks.  The event will be hosted by the undersigned presidents.

 

            2-22 2.  2 The Filipino People.  We are inviting the youth and all well meaning Filipinos to attend our activity.  WEAR A BROWN RIBBON.  BROWN ANG KULAY NG PINOY.  BE PROUD TO BE FILIPINO.
